This collaboration will bring art and flavor together for burrito lovers across Colorado and beyond with the introduction of the Portilla – (Por-TEE-yah) – noun – [little portal], a trippy, tie-dyed tortilla created with Colorado Tortilla Co.
Starting August 1st, customers at all Illegal Pete’s locations can enjoy their favorite burritos, tacos, and quesadillas wrapped in eye-catching, all-natural tie-dye tortillas. This limited-time offering promises a burst of visual delight, allowing fans to give their burritos the Meow Wolf treatment.

To celebrate this collaboration, Meow Wolf and Illegal Pete’s co-created a delightfully absurd video ad titled “Memoritos.” The ad, reminiscent of an Illegal Pete’s commercial warped by the creative minds at Meow Wolf, will play in-store throughout the partnership. They unveiled it at a special screening at Meow Wolf’s cocktail lounge, Sips (with a Z), on July 24.
In addition to the tie-dyed tortillas and the captivating video spot, burrito lovers and Meow Wolf fans can look forward to exclusive merchandise: trippy limited-edition t-shirts and stickers that depict a reality blending Illegal Pete’s and Meow Wolf.
