MICHELIN Guide Unveils 2024 Key Hotel Selections Across the U.S.

MICHELIN Guide revealed the latest additions to its prestigious list of One, Two, and Three Key hotels throughout the United States. This marks the second-ever MICHELIN Key announcement in the U.S., expanding its selection to include top-tier hotels from coast to coast. Previously, the list featured properties from only a few select locations.

The MICHELIN Key program highlights the most exceptional hotels, chosen after four years of a comprehensive refresh of the guide’s hotel selection. The MICHELIN Guide now features over 5,000 hotels globally, none of which are simply “rooms for the night.” Each hotel is carefully vetted to enhance the traveler’s overall experience.

The MICHELIN Guide selects hotels based on five key categories: architecture and interior design, quality and consistency of service, personality and character, value for price, and a property’s contribution to the guest experience in a unique setting. Each hotel is thoroughly vetted to ensure it delivers an exceptional stay, elevating the travel experience through meticulous attention to detail and a distinctive sense of place.

Much like the MICHELIN Stars for restaurants, MICHELIN Keys honor the most outstanding hotels around the world. After countless hours of evaluation by expert inspectors, the newly announced 2024 list highlights the top accommodations, featuring 16 Three Key hotels, 70 Two Key hotels, and 207 One Key hotels. These selections represent the pinnacle of excellence, offering travelers an extraordinary experience across various destinations.
