The Recording Academy®, announces the nominees for the 2026 GRAMMY Awards® coming on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena. The main event airs live from 8 to 11:30 p.m. ET / 5 to 8:30 p.m. PT on the CBS Television Network and will stream on Paramount+.
Prior to the main event, The GRAMMY Awards Premiere Ceremony® is at Peacock Theater 12:30 p.m. PT Sunday, February 1, 2026. The Ceremony is streaming at live.GRAMMY.com and on the Recording Academy® YouTube channel.
The final round of GRAMMY voting runs from December 12, 2025, to January 5, 2026.

The Recording Academy® is the world’s leading society of music professionals that is membership based. The members include recording artists, songwriters, composers, producers, mixers, and engineers who serve as the Voting Membership body.The Academy is divided into local chapters to manage regional activities, including the Atlanta Chapter, Chicago Chapter, Los Angeles Chapter, Nashville Chapter, New York Chapter, Texas Chapter, Washington D.C. Chapter, and several others. There are creative wings and supportive advocacy sectors within the Recording Academy®.
Specialized Creative Wings:
- Producers & Engineers Wing: This group has its own Leadership and publishes Technical Guidelines.
- Songwriters & Composers Wing: A dedicated body for these creative disciplines.
- GRAMMY U: Focuses on education and development for future music professionals.
- Diversity & Inclusion (DEI): This branch oversees groups and initiatives focused on promoting diversity and inclusion, including the Black Music Collective, Women In The Mix, and the Inclusion Rider.
The Advocacy branch is dedicated to representing the voices of music creators and advocating on their behalf.
- National Advocacy Committee: Guides the Academy’s lobbying efforts.
- Issues & Policy: Focuses on specific legislative and regulatory matters such as the Music Modernization Act, HITS Act, American Music Fairness Act, and issues related to ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE.
- Act: Encourages action through initiatives like Music Advocacy Day, “Give Fans The Credit,” and manages the GRAMMY Fund for Music Creators.

The Academy supports several affiliated organizations that extend its reach into welfare, preservation, and education:
- MusiCares®: Dedicated to supporting music people in times of need. It provides pathways to Get Help and encourages people to Give.
- GRAMMY Museum®: This entity focuses on honoring music’s history and investing in its future. Its activities include Exhibits, Education, Programs, and managing the COLLECTION:live streaming service.
- Latin GRAMMYs: A separate division that manages its own awards, news, photos, and videos for Latin music, and maintains the Cultural Foundation.
This year’s nominations span from established acts to first-time nominees. Winners are determined by the Recording Academy’s Voting Members, a peer group composed of music creators, including artists, songwriters, producers, engineers, and more. Their GRAMMY votes decide every GRAMMY nominee and GRAMMY winner revealed on Music’s Biggest Night.
