La Sportiva and Picture Colab is a co-branded non-profit capsule collection that exemplifies how passion for adventure can drive purposeful action against climate change.
In the Outdoor Industry, Picture Organic Clothing and La Sportiva stand out for their shared commitment to sustainability and innovation. Picture Organic Clothing is a French outdoor and action sports brand founded in 2008 by three childhood friends: Jeremy Rochet, Vincent Andre, and Julien Durant. They created the company with a strong commitment to sustainability, focusing on eco-friendly materials and ethical manufacturing processes. La Sportiva was established by Narciso Delladio in 1928 in the small mountain village of Ziano di Fiemme, Italy. Initially, the brand produced wooden clogs and leather boots for lumberjacks and farmers in the Dolomites. But the products expanded and La Sportiva is now known for high-performance products tailored for climbing, hiking, mountaineering, and trail running, La Sportiva combines tradition, innovation, and sustainability in its designs.
The goal is to shift mindsets and bring awareness to issues in the everchanging landscapes. The proceeds go to Protect Our Winters Europe, a non-profit organization empowering the outdoor community to advocate for climate action. According to Copernicus, Europe’s climate change service, the summer of 2024 was the hottest on record for Europe and globally. At the heart of POW Europe’s vision lies a dedication to nurturing a sustainable and resilient planet.

Proceeds from this collection will support POW’s efforts to reduce carbon emissions by advancing low-carbon mobility and lobbying for stronger climate policies. La Sportiva and Picture are helping to ensure that future generations can continue to enjoy the mountains and wild spaces we love.
