Learning to ski – Eldora

Well, I am a beginner. I am 41. I live in Colorado, and I have since 2005. I have put little effort into mastering the sport, but I make an annual pilgrimage to the mountain. I fail brutely. I do yoga and ride my bicycle (not that fast or competitive). I have never played sports. Most of my life, I studied music and writing. I am super creative and quite the klutz. This year, this changes. I am going to 22 ski resorts from Coloradoski.com to learn-how-to-ski, how to grow, how to learn something new, even when the odds are against me.

Among the Ghosts – Lucero’s Short Film and Album – Interview

Lucero celebrated two decades since original members Ben Nichols, Brian Venable, Roy Berry, and John C. Stubblefield (keyboardist Rick Steff joined in 2006) started playing shows in Memphis. Create Places First Friday Creative Relief Fund

On First Friday, 9/1/2017, Create Places of Fort Collins is launching a call for donations. Any musician or artist that donates portions of their sales to the relief efforts of Harvey Hurricane in Houston will be matched dollar for dollar for up to $1000. The donations can be in the form of ticket sales, merch sales, fundraiser shows or any profitable contribution. This initiative encourages local grassroots philanthropy from artist and creatives in Fort Collins.
